Changes to Festigo Travel festival package access

At Festigo Travel, our goal has always been simple: help music lovers create unforgettable festival holidays.

As a fully licensed travel agency, we do much more than just sell festival tickets. We help customers plan and book complete journeys, including flights, accommodation, transfers, trains, cruises, tours and travel insurance, all backed by expert support from a team that understands traveling for events inside and out.

To better reward customers who trust us with their travel plans and to help us continue improving the experiences we offer, we’re introducing a new three-phase release process for future festival package sales.

Rewarding Festigoers who travel with us

From Tuesday 1 September, access to festival package sales will be prioritised based on the amount of travel booked with Festigo Travel.

The more of your itinerary you book through us, the earlier you’ll be able to access future festival package releases.

Phase 1: Full-Trip Customers

Customers who book their entire trip with Festigo Travel will receive the highest priority and earliest access to festival packages.

Phase 2: Travel-Component Customers

The second release phase will be available to customers who have booked a minimum of two of the following travel components with Festigo Travel:

• International long-haul flights from Australia, New Zealand, Asia or the USA
• Additional travel arrangements surrounding the festival, including accommodation, transfers, internal flights, trains, cruises or tours
• Travel insurance**
• Another festival, tour or cruise package with Festigo Travel as part of the same journey

**Festigo Travel offers travel insurance options through Redion, nib and Cover-More for eligible Australian residents. Customers are advised to read the product disclosure statements to select the cover that best suits their individual travel needs and circumstances.

Any travel components booked independently or through another provider will not count towards the requirements of your festival package. All applicable travel components must be booked directly through Festigo Travel to qualify as a component towards Festigo Travel package access.

Phase 3: General Public Sale

Any remaining festival packages will then be made available to the general public through the Festigo Travel website.

Why we’re making this change

Festigo Travel is at its core, a fully licensed travel agency since the beginning. We specialise in coordinating travel arrangements for ravers and travelers alike, so they can attend festivals as part of their overall travel experience. We are not just a ticket seller and distribution platform.

By encouraging customers to book more of their travel with us, we’re able to gain a deeper understanding on what our community desires when it comes to both their travel and festival experience. We’ll be able to deliver more personalised support, improve on what’s offered on group tours and itineraries, negotiate better travel partnerships and create more valuable products and services for the Festigo community.

Putting our community of loyal Festigoers first

Many of our customers already choose us to manage their complete travel itinerary. The new release phase recognises their trust and commitment to us by giving them the first opportunity to secure future festival packages.

Simply put, customers who book more of their trip with Festigo Travel will enjoy earlier access and greater priority when festival packages go on sale.

We believe this approach creates a better experience for the Festigo community, while helping us continue to improve and expand on what we offer.
