05 JUL – Day 1 – Dubrovnik
Boat will be docked in Dubrovnik Gruž harbor where you can board during the entire day. Welcome meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. where you will be introduced by our Cruise director to the Captain, our crew and of course your future fellow passengers with whom you will spend a week on board. Welcome dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.
The embarkation will be possible throughout the day; passengers arriving in the morning cannot enter their cabins before 1:00 p.m. but they can leave luggage on board. Captain will wait for all passengers arriving late at night and these guests will be provided with cold dinner.
06 JUL – Day 2 – Dubrovnik to Slano
After breakfast, our ans an option on English-speaking guide and coach will come to the pier. Coach will take us to the historical center of Dubrovnik, the famous city enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage Site, where our guide will show you the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik. After the city tour, you’ll be left on your own to explore and enjoy this city, known around the world as The Pearl of Adriatic.
At 12:00 we’ll have a transfer back to the ship. Lunch will be served on board en route to Slano, where we shall arrive late in the afternoon.
07 JUL – Day 3 – Slano to Mljet to Korcula
Cruise towards the island of Mljet where upon arrival you can visit Mljet National Park. The park is well known for its versatile eco-system and two salt lakes (‘’Veliko jezero’’- Big Lake and ‘’Malo jezero’’- Small Lake), as well as for Benedictine Monastery from 12th century located on the St Mary’s Islet. You’ll have some free time to take a dip in the lakes, hire bikes or a kayak, or take a relaxing stroll around the park. Return back to the boat for lunch and leave Mljet for the Island of Korcula. The city of Korcula is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean and is thought to be the birthplace of the renowned explorer Marco Polo. After arriving in Korcula in the afternoon, join your guide for an optional walking tour of Korcula Town. The evening will be at leisure for you to try out some homemade food in one of many restaurants.
08 JUL – Day 4 – Korcula to Hvar
In the morning, we’ll continue our cruise to the Island of Hvar. After a swim stop and lunch, we’ll continue cruising along many idyllic coves and bays towards Hvar, the sunniest Croatian island. Hvar is one of the most popular and attractive Croatian tourist destinations and a meeting point of the international jet set.
Upon our afternoon arrival at Hvar, as an options a local English-speaking guide will walk you through the town, introducing you to the island’s way of life, its rich history and culture. You’ll learn how lavender was traditionally farmed on Hvar, for many centuries. Afterwards, you’ll be free to enjoy your evening in Hvar, to explore on your own and dine in one of its numerous family-owned restaurants or taverns.
09 JUL – Day 5 – Hvar to Bol
We’ll start our day with a morning departure towards Bol. Bol is famous for having one of the finest European beaches, called Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). As we stop in Bol, you can relax in this charming Dalmatian town. Have a walk, a cup of coffee or a swim, until lunch is served on board.
10 JUL – Day 6 – Bol to Makarska
Our voyage will continue towards Makarska with refreshing swim stop on our way passing between Hvar and Brač Islands and its picturesque places on both sides, green with the olive and pine groves, vineyards and the low bush forests. Lunch on board “en route” and afternoon arrival to Makarska on the mainland, “tourist Centre of Dalmatia” famous with its long beaches and nightlife, where we will spend the night.
11 JUL – Day 7 – Makarska –Pucisca – Split (Ultra Europe Day 1 optional)
After breakfast we cruise across the Brač channel towards Pucisca, the island’s biggest village of the island of Brač with authentic Mediterranean architecture and rustic ambiance inside a deep fiord; shiny and white stone facades rising amphitheatrically uphill make this place so unique and worth seeing, famous for its quarries from which stone was excavated to build limestone columns of the White House in Washington DC, The Parliament house in Vienna and many other famous buildings all over the world. In Pucisca is only one Stonemasonry school in Croatia where students carve Brač limestone with traditional and unconventional tools
that are used here for centuries.
After a relaxed walk we will have lunch while cruising to Split, our first and last stop. Split is the second largest urban center in Croatia and the seat of the Split and Dalmatia County. It is traditionally considered to be over 1,700 years old. Since 1979 the historic center of Split has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site List. The historical and cultural buildings are located inside the walls of the Diocletian’s Palace.
If you want to do Ultra Europe Friday (day 1) please let us know – please note that we do need to get off the boat early in the morning and Ultra Europe finishes at 5am in the morning!
12 JUL – Day 8 – Split – Ultra Europe Day 2
Bid farewell to your crew as your Croatian Classic cruise concludes after breakfast.
If this is the end of your trip we bid you farewell! Otherwise we will make our way to our hotel to check in and get ready for Ultra Europe Day 2 (Saturday)! We will have VIP tickets and if there is enough interest we can get a VIP Table overlooking the mainstage!
