Itinerary

30 JUN – Day 1 – End of Defqon 1 (Monday morning) to Frankfurt (Contiki Start)

Pick up from Defqon in Biddinghuizen. Journey to Frankfurt, often described as a big city with a friendly village feel, a historical haven known for its sausages and waterways. You’re free to explore however you like tonight but first, your Trip Manager will give you a brief orientation.

1 JUL – Day 2 – Frankfurt to Nuremberg

Rise and shine, folks. This morning, we say goodbye to the city of Frankfurt and head to Nuremberg. In the heart of Bavaria join a walking tour that’ll fill you in on 1000 years of history, from emperors and Renaissance riches to World Wars and Nazi trials. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore the nightlife or have a bit on R & R, the choice is yours!

2 JUL – Day 3 – Nuremberg to Salzburg

Start your day at Nuremberg Castle, the iconic symbol of the city. Explore the Imperial Palace, which served as a residence for Holy Roman Emperors. Onwards we go into the mountain ranges that made the Sound of Music famous. Also, home to Mozart, you can be pretty certain, Salzburg knows a tune! Have the rest of the night to do as you wish.

3 JUL – Day 4 – Electric Love Festival (Thursday Optional) OR Free Time

Today is ours to enjoy all of Salzburg’s delights! Before the group is let loose on the streets of Salzburg, come together to see the largest preserved fortress in Central Europe – Hohensalzburg. Enjoy Electric Love Festival Day 1 or Have the rest of the day to explore at your own pace.

4 JUL – Day 5 – Electric Love Festival – VIP Table Service (Cupra Lounge)

Enjoy a full day and night at Electric Love Festival! VIP Deck and VIP Table/Bottle Service on behalf of Festigo Travel is included!

5 JUL – Day 6 – Salzburg to Ljubljana

Morning Salzburg! Today we say goodbye to Austria and continue east in our discoveries, bound for Hungary. Although you might find nods to neighbouring countries, a distinct identity within Slovenian culture has evolved from the melody of influences surrounding it. After we’ve had a walking orientation to get acquainted with our new surroundings, you’ll have the chance to explore the bohemian art district of Metelkova Mesto or sit by one of Ljubljana’s atmospheric watercourses.

6 JUL – Day 7 – Ljubljana to Novalja (Dropzone Pre-Party) (CONTIKI END)

Ever the advocates of a balanced holiday, today we’re trading in the obscure unknown for Dropzone. Drop in Novalja for Dropzone Festival. (CONTIKI ARRANGEMENTS END AT NOVALJA)

7 JUL – 11 JUL – Dropzone!
